My name is Edi Tarigan (Edi Natanael Tarigan, born 1971). I am originally from Indonesia. My home town is Medan, North Sumatra. I had spent sometime in Yogyakarta, where I completed my bachelor in engineering. At one stage in my life, I continued my education by joining MBA Executive Program at the University of Auckland (New Zealand).
My current base is Athens, Greece. I will keep on moving between countries for maybe another few years.
I’m a project manager (was professional consultant) delivering business solutions in the area of warehouse, logistics and supply chain management for enterprises including its integration into finance and other systems. I have been working in various projects across Asia Pacific countries, includes New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand. I had also involved in few projects in Norway and USA. It is the work that I have been doing since 1995.
Few companies that had used my service includes: Ernst & Young, @lign Group, Hermis Consulting, KPMG Consulting (now: Bearingpoint), Shell Information Technology International, Oxygen Business Solutions, Price Waterhouse (now: Price WaterhouseCoopers). Few clients that I delivered business solutions to includes: Frieslandfoods Formost Thailand, Frisian Flag Indonesia, Mitra AdiPerkasa, Exelcomindo, Fletcher Challenge Forest, Carter Holt Harvey, ACI Glass Australia.
In the on-line world, I usually use nick-name “mosokul”. This is a new my-own-invented word. You may search that word in the search engine, which I believe should mostly end up with something related to me. Up to the time I wrote this, no one else in the world use that word except me.
One of my hobby is photography. It is something that I like since long time ago, but just recently explored and enhanced. I have a passion for great images, nice composition, lovely colors, fantastic places and interesting people.
So that’s all about me. The person I am can be seen and understood more fully by reading my journal in this weblog. Pictures used in this weblog – if you don’t see any other remarks – are all taken by me. Only very few of them are taken by somebody else and I always state the photographer clearly, if it is not me.
